So how exactly does that card work? Find out here where there's a compiled list of rulings for specific card questions.
Errata and Card Text FAQ
Ok, I know what the card says, but what does it REALLY say? This list has a list of official changes to the wording of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
What's an Archfiend?
Obviously, an Archfiend has the word Archfiend in it's title. Well, unless it's one of these cards.
Tournament Policies:
Yu-Gi-Oh! Advance Constructed Deckbuilding Rules
So you're ready to go to your first constructed Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament, or are you? This is the list of cards which are either forbidden in Yu-Gi-Oh! advance constructed events, or limited to less than three for these events. Make sure that your deck adheres to these rules, or you'll be finding yourself having to adjust your deck on the fly after receiving a harsh penalty. Sure you could look at the UDE Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament Policy, but this list is important, so we'll let this part stand on it's own as well. (Last Updated 9/1/2007)
Yu-Gi-Oh! Decklist (Acrobat .pdf format)
This is an official Yu-Gi-Oh! decklist. If you're planning on playing at a Regional Championship event, you'll be filling one of these out. It helps the judging staff make sure that your deck is legal, and remains consistant throughout the event. Once you submit this to us, your deck is locked in for the rest of the event. Shortly we'll have one which you can fill in online and print off before you come to an event, but for now, we have this.
UDE Tournament Policy (Acrobat .pdf format // Word .doc format)
What we have here is very broad information about who does what during a tournament. Information on what is expected from players, judges, organizers, and spectators, how many rounds you run, what a UDE number is, or what sleeves are legal for your cards. This is the bare basics of Upper Deck Entertainment tournament play.
UDE Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament Policy (Acrobat .pdf format // Word .doc format)
Now we're getting to the good stuff. This is the policy document which is specific to Yu-Gi-Oh! It includes things like forbidden and limited lists, when sets become legal for play, time limits and what happens when those limits are reached, and definitions and explanations of the various formats for the game.
UDE Penalty Guidelines (Acrobat .pdf format // Word .doc format)
And why would you follow the rules above? Because of this document right here. These are the "laws" of tournament play, including the punishment for those who are judged to violate those laws.
